What's Covered?
This policy covers the repair or replacement of mechanical and electrical components of your vehicle that were part of the manufacturer’s original fitment, including wear and tear on covered components (subject to the policy wording).
Cover includes:
- All mechanical and electrical components (excluding listed items)
Cover up to £1,000 for breakdown of:
- In-Car Entertainment System
- Satellite Navigation Equipment
- Battery (excluding electric vehicles)
- Catalytic Converter
- Timing Belts
Limited cover for:
- Car hire
- Hotel accommodation following a mechanical breakdown
- MOT Test Insurance
- Call Assist
- Cover across the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, and up to 60 days in the EU
What happens if I don’t renew?
Once your free warranty expires, any future mechanical or electrical repair costs will be your responsibility. Renewing today ensures uninterrupted protection and avoids unexpected bills.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this the same warranty as before?
Yes, this renewal provides the exact same Lloyd Select Warranty cover you currently have, just extended for your chosen duration.
When will my renewed cover start?
Your new policy will begin immediately after your current warranty expires or from the data you renew following its expiry.
How do I pay?
Payment is made as a one-off upfront payment at the start of your chosen cover period.
Can I cancel after renewing?
You can cancel within 30 days of the start date (or receipt of documents, if later) and receive a refund, provided no claims have been made.
Is my vehicle eligible?
Your vehicle must be under 10 years old and have fewer than 80,000 miles at the start of cover, with no pre-existing faults.
What if I purchase a new vehicle?
No need to worry! Our Lloyd Select Warranty is fully transferable, subject to a small admin fee.
